Mr. Sorgman is an accomplished architect from California where he was one of the most sought after architects in the Santa Barbara area. He is also a skilled guitar player who would like to share his diversified talents with our students. Every Tuesday Mr. Sorgman will work with small groups of students drawing and teaching basic guitar. The class is free and open to all Extended Learning Program interested students, there is a 12 student limit per class. Chef Cooking Clip Art Images & Picture NEW! JUNIOR CHEF FUN! 
This introductory class will provide an introduction to the art of cooking. Participants will explore healthy eating habits, learn basic cooking skills and prepare a simple meal  with Chef Tom Houle!

 Cello.png NEW MUSIC PROGRAM (Violin & Piano Lessons)
No need to drive to music lessons! Marcia Kidder Desilets (mkidmusic@gmail.com) an exceptional music instructor with over 30 years of experience in piano, violin and viola instruction will be offering 1/2 hour private piano lessons and small group violin and viola lessons for interested K - 5 students. Violins and violas may be rented for a low monthly cost through the Marcia. Lessons will be offered in 10 session increments. Your child can now learn to play the piano, violin or viola as part of their day!

Chess Wizards believe strongly that education should be fun and exciting. Since their first classes in 2002, the Chess Wizards have inspired thousands of children across the United States and Canada to think logically, solve problems, win graciously, and learn from defeat. Their academy is so successful because their approach is so unique. Classes and lessons are based around our original, fun, and high-energy Chess Wizards curriculum. Regardless of a child’s ability Chess Wizards makes chess fun for all!

QuickStart tennis is the newest rage sweeping the junior tennis
world! This program allows younger children to play tennis using a smaller court, softer balls and other specialized equipment. Kids are extremely engaged and they learn skills that can be applied to more advanced techniques as they improve. The MLTC has been offering high-level tennis instruction in Acton for over 16 years and the program was one of the first in the area to offer QuickStart methods. Student should wear sneakers and dress comfortably. Rackets provided.

the Bolton library to enjoy the many wonderful opportunities the library has to offer its visitors. Please take a look at the library's exciting March calendar for this months activities. This opportunity is open to all interested Emerson Extended Learning Program participants in grades 3 - 5.

Students in grades K - 8 brought their bikes to the Emerson Gym for a fall tune up and basic bicycle safety. Community cyclists hosted this amazing one hour opportunity for students to learn bike safety and maintenance tips from the experts. The class was open to all interested Extended Learning Program, Florence Sawyer and Emerson School students.
