Second Graders at MRE practiced 3-digit numbers and place value with counting beans.

Students at LBMS collected data and applied their knowledge about chemical reactions and bath bombs to a new phenomena about what is causing the break down of marble in the Taj Mahal.

Innovation Pathways students in the Business and Finance Pathway visited Bentley this week. They toured the school and had to chance to sit down for lunch with Nashoba Alum currently attending Bentley!

October marks the 20th Annual Cybersecurity Awareness Month. Cybersecurity Awareness Month focuses on "taking daily action to reduce risks when online and using connected devices." Some of the easiest tips for staying safe online include: using strong passwords, turning on multi-factor authentication (MFA), recognizing and reporting phishing, and updating software. We're wrapping our National School Lunch Week food tour at Center & Hale! Some of today's stand out plates were the Meatball Pizza Pops, the Chicken Delight Wrap, and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich! Not pictured, but still delicious were the Fluffy Whole Grain Waffles!

Today we're taking a look at the LBMS and MRE Plate of the Day! The main entrée across both of our Lancaster schools was the "Yard Bird," a delicious take on a chicken sandwich that features a special sauce and pickle spears paired with tater tots and a fresh side salad!

We're also featuring the FSS Cafeteria in our Plate of the Day round up! FSS students enjoyed Incredibowls General Tso's Chicken style which they could grab on the go, as well as several sandwich and salad options! Check back tomorrow as we cover our Lancaster cafeterias!

In honor of National School Lunch Week, we're showcasing Plates of the Day from each of our cafeterias! Up first is our NRHS Cafeteria. Today's main course was Buffalo or BBQ Style Wings with a side of oven baked fries. Never short on options, students could also opt for Nachos, custom salads, and a host of other offerings!

The district's new five day pre- k model across all three towns has been highly praised by families, and the students are enjoying being in school! There are still a few spaces remaining in our half day and full day integrated pre-kindergarten programs for students who are 3 and 4 years old.
