First graders and fourth graders at MRE paired up for an exciting STEM Challenge! Given pipe cleaners, scissors and masking tape the students needed to create a tall, freestanding structure that would hold one marshmallow on top.

Bravo! Last week the LBMS Chorus took to the ice to sing the National Anthem at the Worcester Railers game.

Last week, our district had the privilege of welcoming Kimberly Croteau, a distinguished Literacy Advisor from Wilson Language Training. Ms. Croteau, along with our district's literacy coaches, elementary school principals, Curriculum Director Laura Pagington, and Assistant Superintendent Laura Friend, spent time visiting first and second-grade classrooms!

This year marks the 50th National History Day competition, an annual competition in which students choose a significant historic topic related to a theme and dive deeply into the past by conducting extensive research through primary and secondary sources.

School Feature! Hale Middle School held their first No Place For Hate event of 2024. The keynote speaker was Mrs. Nikki Turpin and the theme was “What is your legacy?”
