Luther Burbank Middle School students wrapped up their year by participating in a concert at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston.

Hale Middle School recently hosted its first Career Day. Students from 6th to 8th grade enthusiastically participated by sharing their career interests through surveys. They were then thoughtfully paired with passionate volunteers from the Nashoba community. The lineup of volunteers was diverse, featuring talented individuals such as graphic novelists, dedicated police officers, microbiologists, occupational therapists, and a myriad of other fascinating professionals. It was a day filled with exploration, learning, and endless possibilities for our students to consider as they journey into paving their own path.

Thank you to our Groundbreaking Ceremony Student Representatives! Hansika Kommanavancha (Class of 2024), Olivia Goegel (Class of 2028), and Maddie Caron (Class of 2031) represented the current graduating class, the first to graduate from the new building, and the first to attend all four years at the new high school, during our recent NRHS Groundbreaking Ceremony.

Episode 7 of The Great Road Podcast features The Future Leaders Club at Hale Middle School, started by educators, Lauren Lappas and Emily Champagne. Hear from the advisors and three students who walk through the creation and mission of the club, the impact on the participants, Career Day, and the diverse range of guest presenters who have connected with the club. Give a listen and prepare to be inspired by these future leaders. https://open.spotify.com/episode/0tWHLrmbYpdVXWe7iCyLAE?si=RNW9lu9jTYi_S6tXvoG0oA

Last week Nashoba Regional High School Seniors celebrated their upcoming graduation with a host of senior activities!

Rising Kindergarten students at Center School participated in a "Get Ready to Ride Event" sponsored by the Nashoba Community Partnership for Children and Dee Bus. Students and their parents/guardians listened to a story, learned bus safety rules and took a short ride around the neighborhood. This event was funded by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care’s Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Program.

Florence Sawyer School partnering with the Bolton Police Department for Walk to School Day!

Last Saturday, six Lancaster students participated in the CDMMEA Jr. District Festival Concert in Blackstone, MA! Accepted through a competitive audition process, our young musicians joined other top-scoring students from around the state to form a concert band and choral festival ensemble. Each ensemble has the privilege of working with conductors that are renowned in their field. The musicians put on an excellent performance on Saturday. Congratulations to all who performed!

Nashoba Regional High School juniors dove into American Literature with August Wilson's "Fences" as their guide. The study peaked with a live performance at Trinity Rep in Providence, sparking student-led discussions on everything from stage design to directorial choices.
